The Killer Ants

McKinley really loves to play soccer so we decided to let her play spring soccer this year. It only took one game to realize the difference between spring and fall soccer, it is much colder to watch. Matt is the coach of the Killer Ants, and I think that he does a great job. I am so grateful for such a wonderful husband that is so supportive of his kids and myself.

The wheels on the bus go round and round

I finished up the field trips this week with Jade and McKinley. Today I went with Jade to the Scera Theater for a play, lunch at the park and then yes the amazing Bean Museum.

This is a picture of Jade and her friend Sophie on the bus ride over to Orem. I really enjoy everything about going on field trips with the kids except the bus rides. It is fun to see how they interact with their classmates.

Apparently Jade is afraid of dead stuffed animals, who knew, I did not. If you look close at these pictures you can see that she did not want to get to close or take her eyes off of them. I tried to get a picture of just her in front of a different bear and she started to cry so we stayed clear of the bears.

Once again I had a really great group of kids to watch over. The little boy in blue did lose his tooth in the middle of the play, but he survived.

On Tuesday I was able to go to the Clark Planetarium with McKinley and her class.

The only kid to give me trouble in this group was the kid in the grey shirt.

It is pretty entertaining to see sixth grade boys and girls interact.

After the lesson on the stars and planets we went to a 3-D movie. There is that kid in the grey shirt--trouble with a capital T.

Here we are trying to make the bus ride home more fun.

New Easter Outfits

I really liked these pictures of Lilli because I remember the way I felt twirling in dresses when I was young.

Four years ago on St Patricks Day we found a pot of gold, our Lilli. We are so glad that she is a part of our family.

I love this picture because of the milk mustache.

Those blue eyes help her get away with way to much.

I was glad that Ezra came over to help us eat the massive Princess Castle Birthday cake.

Field Trip Day

You know that the end of school is getting close when the field trips notes start to come home. Gavin's was the first one to go one his field trip and I was lucky enough to go with him. Our first stop was the Bean Museum.

After the Bean Museum we had lunch at a park in Provo and continued on to the Springville Art Museum. I was in charge of keeping track of Gavin and 2 of his classmates. Unlike the Bean Museum, I had never been to the Sringville Art Museum before. Gavin went to the Sringville Art Museum last year so I asked him if he liked it and I thought his response was pretty funny, "there are alot of naked butts and stuff." I had a great time and my group was awesome.

Gavin likes to pull funny faces for some reason.

Backwards Day

This past week the kids had a backwards day at school. McKinley started off saying that she was not wearing her clothes backwards (preteen already), but she decided that she could at least wear her sweatshirt backwards. Gavin had a completely different attitude, everything he had on, was backwards (shirt, pants, shoes, jacket, and backpack). Jade fit somewhere in the middle with her shirt, jacket and backpack on backwards. Oh and Jade also had me put her earrings in backwards.

They headed off to school and I guess that Lilli was feeling a little left out because she came to me asking if I would zip her coat up backwards. Lilli can't wait to be old enough to go to school with her sisters and brother.
