Gavin finally got his Wolf

Gavin worked hard and earned his Wolf badge moments before he turned 9.

He was very careful to not poke me with his pin.

For a moment there I thought that my mom was Chinese

For pack night they celebrated Chinese New Year. We ate rice, played some games, and had a lot of fun.

Do they look like they are ready to run? Bonnie does not a care in the world. I guess that is what happens when she knows that she doesn't have to worry about Jackson for 40 minutes...

and the winner from our group is Heargreaves. He almost looks like he is floating in air.

Gavin did awesome in his first race. He didn't even need to practice.

McKinley ran by so fast I didn't even get a picture of her. Her Dad was running frantically trying to catch up with her but she ended up BEATING him by .4 seconds. It was a tie in Matt's book but when we asked her about it she said that a W is a W in her book.

Run Matt Run

When we headed out for our run this morning, most of the snow had melted and the wind was blowing. It was about 8:30 when we left. I had told Matt that the weather man predicted the storm to move in between 6:00 and 8:00 that morning. Well he was only off by about 45 min. Half way into the run the storm moved in. By the time that we got home the snow was probably about 1 inch deep. This is one run (most of it ended up being a walk) I won't forget.

Lilli loves her cinnamon toast!

No matter how many times I tell the girls to eat the edges first they don't seem to listen. Lilli is definitly the pickiest (is that even a word?) eater in our family. We were all having hot beef sandwhiches for dinner but Lilli had her cinnamon toast. She is the baby of the family and it shows. I can't imagine our family without her, and LOVE her so much.

We were happy to have a white Christmas for more than one reason. The kids are having a ton of fun playing in the snow while on break from school. As you can see from Jade's red face, it sure is COLD.
