1st Christmas in our new house

I was so excited to have Christmas in our new house. Two years ago we decided to buy a fake tree at the after Christmas sales. I was so excited to use it the next year, but then we moved in with the parents. So the tree was still in the box. Now that we are in our new house, I couldn't wait to get the tree out, and Matt was happy that he wasn't going to have to sting lights. We do all Disney ornaments on our tree and the kids have so much fun putting there favorite Disney characters on it.
Each year My Mom and Dad have there grandkids Christmas party at the first of December. This year Mom decided to have all the kids sleepover at there house. She had tons of fun stuff planned for them to do, and my kids were so excited. Gavin said that it was the best party yet. Thanks Mom and Dad for all the fun times.

Thanksgiving Workout

We had a great Thanksgiving. After visiting with both Matt's family and mine, my nephews and the kids decided to run some of our dinner off, by playing a little basketball.

Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate

One of my favorite things about the Christmas Holiday is dipping chocolates. My girls really like it also, but there favorite thing is to lick there fingers clean.

A New Toy to Play With

My new toy is a camera, and I can't wait to have many more post full of pictures of my great kids. When we went to Disneyland in September my sister-in-law had this great idea to give her son Quaid and the girls disposable camras so they could take pictures of what ever they wanted. The girls had a ton of fun with this (as you can see). In case you can't tell who this picture is of it is Cassie, and this is her first time seeing also.

Jade thought is was pretty funny to take pictures of our butts while waiting in line for Space Mountian. She said that these pictures were her favorite ones.
Here is Jade taking a picture of herself.
Monkey see monkey do, Lilli doing the same.
Jade would put the camera down so quickly after taking the picture that most of them turned out blurry.

I was putting away my Halloween decorations and cleaning the house for Erin shower when Jade said she could help me make the house look nice. After going in her room she came out with this mirror that Gavin made her for Christmas last year, and thought it would look nice for the Shower. She was born a Mother. I love her so much.
This is the face that I see McKinley make everytime I shoot down her party plans she may have.
All I have to say is DISHES to get this respones from Gavin.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Can't wait to go to the dentist.

All the Extras

Gavin has become quit the pianist. This last weekend both he and McKinley had a recital. Gavin performed a duet with Grady, (Gavin makes him look like a giant)who is a few years older than him. Gavin is pretty short for his age, but he doesn't let his size stop him. He seems to always be playing, and keeping up with the older boys.
Here Gavin is performing his own song that he composed. He named his song Moon Boogie. Thanks to Bonnie, Gavin got the biggest laugh of the night. Bonnie thought that when Gavin annouced his own song the Moon Boogie he should do a boogie. Gavin didn't like that idea at all until Bonnie offered a small wager. I didn't think he would do it but, money is a definite motivater for Gavin. He did a great job playing and doing the Moon Boogie.
McKinley has really excelled at piano this year also. The song that she composed is called On the Court. Both McKinley and Gavin enter there songs in the reflection contest. Last year they bothed placed with there songs. I really enjoyed your songs that night.

HI everyone this is Mckinley. In this picture I am playing with my duet partner Erika. I think we did really good. We played a song called Irish Air. It is a really pretty song. I had a lot of fun and we did GREAT!!!!
Gavin loves to play all sports. Here he is playing soccer, which is over now and he has moved on to flag football.

Matt is such a great supportive Dad and soccer coach. Matt really enjoys soccer and did a great job with his team. On a few occasion he got a little intense, but I think the kids learned a ton from him.
This is me playing soccor. I really enjoyed playing this year. We lost one game and won all the rest. In the other picture someone got hurt and we were kneeling down on one knee to show respect. I also like to play softball and I am signed up for basketball

California here we come... again

This picture was taken on our way to California. The car ride is always the worst, but with the help of TV's, game consoles, and ipods the kids did pretty well.
We hit Newport Beach first. The kids always have a great time at the beach. It was a little to cold for me, but we had fun playing in the sand and throwing a football around.
We were so glad that Cassie decided to fly in and play with us on the beach. We all miss her a ton and sometimes wish she lived a little closer, but we love her just the same.
This was the 12 person bike that we rented to ride down the boardwalk at sunset. We recieved a ton of looks and comments from everyone we passed. The sunset was so beautiful and we had a great time.
Mater always takes a good picture...

Standing in line for Dumbo. Good thing we used that early entry today. It was crowded.

Um do you smell watermelon? Grandma, Lilli, McKinley and Austin could but there must have been a cute girl around because he is trying to look cool.

Nothing like flying on an elephant with her Daddy.

To finish the trip off right we stopped by Katie and Ryan's house on the way home. The weather was better than the last time we were there, so we decided to go on a hike. Here we are standing on top of the Dixie Rock, wow what a view. Thank you Katie and Ryan for letting us stay with you.

There were so many fun caves and rocks to climb into. I sure am grateful for my kids, and love them so much. It is alot of work to go on vacation or should we say a trip, but I will cherish all the great memories we make.

Hey spidy, your looking pretty HOT! Love you tons.

Kitchen Back Splash

When we were building our house, we became desperate to move in at the end. So we focused on the things that needed to be done to get in (those of you who have built a home probably knows what I mean), the kitchen back splash was not one of them. Thanks to the help of my awesome favorite(and only)little brother Cole we can check one of the unfinished projects off. I really think that it finished the kitchen off nicely. Thanks again Cole for your awesome talent, and your wonderful family for the sacrifice of your time that could have been spent at home with them.
We love you The McMullins

Jade and Lilli's first dayof school

Jade was so excited to start kindergarten.
McKinley, Gavin and Jade walking to the bus stop.
Lilli's was feeling left out, home all alone so she was so excited for preschool. For an update on her eye, the patch therapy is working well. She will wear her patch for another 8 weeks, 3 hours a day and then we will slowly taper off so her eye will not fall back into being lazy.
