Gavin has joined a scout troop in Provo, it is troop 999. Summer camp started this past Saturday. Matt being the awesome father that he is, volunteered to drive some of the boys up to camp. I am not sure exactly where it is but I believe that it is somewhere near the Uintas. I have to admit that I have been a little nervous letting him go but I know he will have a ton of fun.
I wonder what Gavin is thinking in this picture?

Jade is starting to want to be all grown up. She wants to stay up late with the older kids, watch the same movies as them, and do her own hair. Lilli is just trying to keep up with her. So this morning I heard the two of them in there bathroom arguing over who's turn it was for the brush, and who was going to go and get the piggy's. I hope that these two will always be the best of friends.
Jade gets a little stressed while doing her hair, she asked Lilli if she could leave because she was being to noisy.
I imagine that the future also holds a few fights as well. I am just happy that they want to do there own hair, because I had to force McKinley to do her own hair when she was 12 years old.

I am sure Gavin is having the time of his life! And that is great that Jade and Lilli want to do their own hair!
HaHa, oh yes the hair drama, we are working on that one at our house also.
I don't have a clue when you really should make them start doing thier own hair is!! I had to learn very quickly at the age of 9......I think I am just now getting the hang of it:)
My poor kids, I would probly help them do thier hair forever because of my childhood experience.

I love it that Jade is so proud when she does her own hair too! They are all growing up way too fast!
Gavin looks exactly like Matt did when he was a kid! What a good Dad Matt is...I'm sure he had the time of his life!
